Pre-Delivery and Builders risk is an essential product for growth within the industry, in order to aid yards & boat dealers with the innovation and creation of their vessels.

Pre-delivery Risks

For yachts under construction, the shipyard usually arranges the insurances for loss or damage to the yacht however we regularly arrange policies to cover the Assureds liability to paid crew that are on site plus their medical expenses and personal accident insurances. Owner supplied items and tenders etc in store or present at the shipyard can also be insured and protected.

Builders risks, refit & restoration

We are able to arrange custom insurance packages for yachts that are in build or under major refit/alteration where a conventional yacht insurance policy is not appropriate.  This extends to also place insurances for classic yachts that are being restored or rebuilt.
