New leadership appointments at LONMAR
Leading independent Lloyd’s broker, LONMAR GLOBAL RISKS (LONMAR) announced new leadership appointments at LONMART, the group’s Fine Art division.
Aqua Sanfelice takes over as Divisional Managing Director following the retirement of David Lock and Kevin Philips becomes Deputy Divisional Managing Director. David will continue to work for LONMART as a Consultant with the twin aims of supporting his successors and the continued servicing of his existing accounts.
Simon Rice, LONMAR’s Chief Executive, commented: “David’s decision to retire follows 47 years of continuous employment with LONMAR and its predecessor businesses. These days, that is a significant achievement. We are most appreciative to him for the valuable contribution he has made to our business over almost half a century.
During his time with us, LONMART has become one of most respected Fine Art brokers in the market. David hands over a robust and successful business which, as one of our key specialist areas, forms an integral part of LONMAR.”
He added: “I am confident that Aqua, ably supported by Kevin, will continue to build on David’s good work, in servicing our valued clients and continuing to build and drive forward LONMART as a successful business.”
Aqua Sanfelice has worked at LONMAR since 2005 and has developed and managed a growing UK and European account and, in her new role she will report to Simon Rice. She will be supported by Kevin Philips, who will report to her.
